Episode 57 - MBSing with Molly Jones - Summer Camp

From the podcast

Molly Jones is the happiest of campers. She's always rallying the troops and weaving tales on and off stage. It’s no surprise that she wanted to talk to me about her love of summer camp. She still counts her summers as a camper (and later counselor) at Camp Laurel South as some of her greatest times. A California girl who went to college in Florida and eventually landed in Chicago, Molly knows that it was her summer months spent in beautiful Maine that shaped her fun, creative, and event-planning nature. She shares some specific parallels from her camp life to her life in the Chicago improv community (Anyone played Kitty Cat Careers as a warm up recently? How about attending an Incubator Night at the Playground Theatre?) and tells me about what it's like to follow fifth grade girls through their camp journey over the course of five summers (then get calls from them years later asking for college sorority advice). It was a delightful, camp-filled conversation only lacking a fire. Enjoy!
