Every month, the Nerdologues invite our friends and Nerds from the community to come and share their stories. Some people do stand-up, perform sketches, or sing songs; a lot of people tell their tales. Then we put it up on a podcast.

The theme this month is "Authentic," as chosen by our friend/special guest curator for the night Shawn Smith!

Shawn's bringing some speakers, but you can speak, too! Email yourstories@nerdologues.com if you're interested in such a thing!

Adler After Dark is one of the coolest events in the city. This month they've invited us to hang out and tell some stories relating to the theme "Runt of the Litter" (just like Pluto)! If you've got a story you want to share, you can submit it via the Adler website - just click on the link to find out how!

The Nerdologues, are launching a Kickstarter for their first game: Fisticuffs! There will be food, beer, and plenty of games of Fisticuffs! to play (plus some of our other favorite Kickstarted games). The party starts at 8pm, the Nerdologues will be on hand to provide color commentary and smiles.

Fisticuffs! is a free-for-brawl fighting card game that we made. Four to six players engage in head-to-head (-to-head-to-head) constant combat until the frenzy peaks and one player emerges victorious. We put it on Kickstarter in June, and we totally got funded: 132% of our goal.

The theme this month is "Sound Idea," and we're featuring and celebrating the Chicago Podcast Coop, a really cool thing that's made podcasting in Chicago like a million times better.
