Last weekend the Nerdologues crew trek'd down to sunny St. Louis, MO for a couple shows at Project Comic-Con, St. Louis' premiere comic convention. As it happens I recorded the show, and to make up for you guys only getting one episode of Your Stories this month, I thought I'd release some of that show here!

Well, friends, we had some technical difficulties this month that ended up losing us five stories and four songs. Still, we salvaged what we could to bring you this EXTRA-SIZED episode all about family! Once again our storytellers don't disappoint; this episode features a great mix of the comedic and the touching. Make sure you listen after the song for a VERY SPECIAL story from our friend Shawn Boyle.

Man, if you thought Your Stories got real before, you ain't heard nothin' yet. For our first officially themed episode, we decided to talk about sex, and the results are surprisingly honest, poignant and excellent. Serious round of applause for our storytellers this month.

So a few weeks ago Dwight and I went to record a couple podcasts with the dudes in Unshaven Comics. While we were there we just HAPPENED to run into Reed Richards and Ben Grimm, aka Mr. Fantastic and the Thing, from the world-famous Fantastic Four. There was no way we could let the meeting pass without asking them to speak a little bit on the topic of next month's podcast... SEX. So, if you ever wondered what the FF have to say about gettin' it on, wonder no more. Please enjoy this tease of May's episodes, the first of which drops next Tuesday!

Welcome back to Your Stories! The next live recording is TONIGHT (if you listen to this the day it drops) at the Upstairs Gallery, 5219 N. Clark in Chicago. We'd love to see you there!

So here's something: April is the last "themeless" episode of NP:YS. The music episode was so popular that we decided to have a rough unifying principle guiding each recording going forward. Still, three of the four stories represented in this part of April's show have a kind of childhood/growing up theme to them, so get ready to wax nostalgic!

At the end of last month we hosted our first ever live remote show at Challengers Comics, 1845 N. Western Ave in Chicago. It was a total blast and we really appreciate all our old and new friends who came out, as well as the accommodating staff at that lovely shop. Here's the episode that resulted! We had to cut a few things due to some shaky audio (though mostly this episode's up to our regular quality), and you'll find a few more prepared comedy bits than usual, so we could introduce the new audience to what it is the Nerdologues does.

It's March, which starts with the letter M. You know what else starts with the letter M? Mmm... donuts. ALSO - music! This episode is all (mostly) about music and features some fantastic original, never-before-heard songs by comedians Andrew Bentley, Bill Kenkel, Steve Persch and Claire Freidman, as well as a really touching monologue about music's power from blogger Shawn Boyle. Claire, myself and all-around creative fellah Myke Golliday also have non-musical nerd moments to share. Join us, won't you?

Welcome back to the second part of our lovely, nerdy, story-telling-y February show. This episode features Nerdologues troupe member Bill Kenkel lecturing us on the futility of existence, film blogger Aaron Pinkston with an oral history of bad haircuts, and theater writer/producer/manager Byron Hatfield providing a tale of summer jobs that nerdy kids just shouldn't have. Once again our friend Matt Heckler lends his considerable musical talent to this month's proceedings.
